Hello,
Yesterday Afternoon November 25th, 2013 at 1:52 PM (UTC+04:00) Moscow Time Zone, one of our data centers experienced an electrical incident which caused multiple servers to lose power. Although we have redundant measures in place to avoid any interruption of service, this particular incident did impact some customers and required manual intervention. Many customer services were restored quickly, however we are certainly aware of ongoing issues related to the event yesterday afternoon.
Some of these issues may appear as Hard Disk Failure. We are working diligently to repair these services and are making steady progress. There may be intermittent slowness due to various repair processes and file system checks. Please rest assured that we are aware of these issues and working through them as quickly as possible.
Two of our Server's Hard Disks are Corrupted and we are trying to recover them. We have progressed on one and the other seems to be barely impossible to recover the Data from. We are now working on the Server Severly affected by this incident and we are working really hard to recover this HDD, but we cannot gurantee for the Data Retention.
We will be providing all the Clients in this Server with a New VPS and their Data will be transferred if the Data is recoverd correctly. Please bare with us for this Unfortunate Situation.
In the unfortunate case that you are still seeing issues please let us know, by opening a ticket and we'll be happy to assist you. I urge you to please refrain from opening more than one ticket related to this issue, or reaching out to more than one support channel at a time (live chat, phone and ticket). The increased support volume from these repeated contacts does unfortunately delay our ability to address your concerns in a timely manner. We address all tickets and support requests in the order they are received.
We know how important your web presence is to you, and we would like to thank you for your patience.
Notification Update: We were just informed by the Data Center Technicians that one of the Hard Disk on this Server could not be recovered and all the Virtual Servers on this HDD are lost. We again Sincerely apologize for this Unfortunate Incident.
All the Clients affected with this Incident will be given New VPS Shortly and will get Extension in the Invoice for the next 15 days after the Due Date as a Compensation. We again ask our Clients to co-operate with us.
If any Client needs to discuss anything about this Incident, they can Open an Administrative Ticket and discuss with our Administration Department.
Warm Regards,
VPS9 Networks
